Larry Tart has been instrumental in bringing the Silent Warriors some much deserved and long awaited attention. Larry worked very hard in getting the National Vigilance Park established near the National Security Agency headquarters on the grounds of Ft. George Meade in Maryland. Larry is the author of a soon to be published book about the shootdown of a C-130 Air Force reconnaissance aircraft over Soviet Armenia on September 2, 1958. This year, 2000, Larry was inducted into the Air Intelligence Agency's Hall of Honor for his many years of work as a Silent Warrior and in the accomplishment of these tasks.
